Charlie Purdom is an independent film director/producer/editor living in Brooklyn, New York. Charlie graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in film and photography. With six years of film work experience under his belt, Charlie helps individuals and organizations realize their vision through creative and passionate filmmaking.
Charlie was most recently the Director of Creative Content for Project UROK. This web-based mental health non-profit for teens and young adults, strives to end the stigma around mental health disorders through storytelling. Directing and editing more than 200 videos, Charlie's work with Project UROK has been featured on outlets such as; Huffington Post, People, The Upright Citizens Brigade, AV Club, Amy Poehler's Smart Girls, Nerdist and The Mary Sue.
When Charlie isn't busy filming, he's at home writing, practicing Japanese, cooking, or playing the bass.
Charlie is in pre-production for his first short film, production begins in 2019.
